A Part Apart

EDAC Technologies Corporation, a leader in aerospace and industrial manufacturing, approached LSHD with a challenge. It wanted a powerful corporate video that could pull double duty, informing prospects about the company’s capacity for on-time, precision solutions  while also serving as a point of pride and inspiration for employees.

Considering the multi-functionality of the film, LSHD developed a strategy that relays the company’s conviction that every part—whether an actual component being manufactured or the individual behind the machine—is significant. LSHD worked with the talented studio Chris Teebo Films, to produce a video that’s shot from the perspective of a part and includes dynamic location footage spliced together with EDAC’s technologies and people at work. Culminating with an employee sequence that positions each person as a part of a greater whole, the video effectively captures the culture and capabilities and has become a showcase piece for the company.
