As part of a yearlong celebration commemorating a special milestone, this regional leader in scrap metal recycling and finished metal materials hosted a special evening in recognition of the company’s founder, employees, and customers. As a way to express its thanks to everyone for attending—and to generate fans for its Facebook page—LSHD created a special email for the company to send out to its contacts. The email included a heartfelt thank you from ownership and a link to a Facebook gallery of photos, professionally taken by Silver Photography. Recipients were able to share, comment on, and like the photos, expanding the company’s sphere of influence through social media.
